You are the only “you” on this planet. Cash that. You are inspiring, creative, intelligent and capable. Spending any energy trying to copy someone else is totally absurd. Nurture who you are by focusing on yourself. Be at ease, spend more time meditating and becoming the best version of yourself. It’s a process. So let yourself grow. Never stop growing.
Follow your passion.
When you love doing something, you are more likely to create a sustainable life as happiness is infectious.
“A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.”
― Winston Churchill
If one door doesn’t open, probably it’s locked, instead of finding ways to break down that door, try another door.
Pay heed to your instincts
“Instinct is a marvelous thing. It can neither be explained nor ignored.”
― Agatha Christie
Pay heed to your intuition. Jot it down. Think about your aim. Pick or base your action upon your intuition. Never worry about the gain, just follow your intuition.
Work work work.
No one is going to do the work for you. Find the ease. Work efficiently. Use what you need. Rest what you don’t.
“The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little extra.”
― Jimmy Johnson
Be good to people.
No kind action ever stops with itself. One kind action leads to another. Good example is followed. A single act of kindness throws out roots in all directions, and the roots spring up and make new trees. The greatest work that kindness does to others is that it makes them kind themselves.
When we judge or criticize another person, it says nothing about that person; it merely says something about our own need to be critical.Unknown
Never be worried about other’s opinion about yourself. Focus on your intention and do the work.
Things might not (and usually don’t) happen in the timing that you want. In such situations, patience is your strength.
“He that can have patience can have what he will.”
― Benjamin Franklin
Allow space for things to turn out different than your plan. Different might be a lot better, so broaden your perspective.
Look after yourself.
Your health is a responsibility that is completely in your control.
“Every human being is the author of his own health or disease.” Buddha
Make time for practice, stimulation and relaxation. Take long walks. Read good books. Take baths. These activities are crucial to your success and your health.
Give up complaining.
If you don’t like how something is, change it. We can’t change everything, but we can do quite a bit about our circumstances when we drop the complaints.
“Never tell your problems to anyone…20% don’t care and the other 80% are glad you have them.”
― Lou Holtz
You have to like where you are in order to get where you are headed. Get comfortable in who you are and work from there.
“Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all.”
― Helen Keller
So be your jolly-self and enjoy every moment of your life.
